17-8-09 VU 10

Is it me or cant i login... or do i need to download Version 10? On the site or so?

EU servers are down till VU10 is done with some test from side of MA and yeah you have to download the new version to log in when the servers are up again.
There is a known issue with the so called "side by side cofiguration" error... i'll post a link to the hotfixes needed for that error in some mins.
I had it on my vista 64 system too... so might handy for some of you

do we have to download the vu10.0 pre-launch client thingy too?

can i download it now already or is it then still 9.4 or so ?

don't know if it will run the update itself if you run the vu 9.4 client and since the VU10 client is 3.77GB i recommand to download it befor you wanna log in

HTTP and Bittorrent link on that page. If HTTP download use a downloadtool with resumefunction...

i am tryin to install the pre-load client thing but i get a message askin me to insert disk 2...
wtf does that mean i have no disks

dunno tbh im rubbish at this i dont have a clue wot i am doing

maybe im doin it wrong but wen i try to download it i get a message askin me to find a program usin the internet to open the file with but then i just get a list of crap

(edit) oh wait i think i get it....on the download page do i need to save all 6 setups?

the link on the button on that page is the bittorrent link. if you don't have that programm. use one of the links below to download it with the browser. you have to download all 6 files on that side (entropia universe setup.exe-entropia universe setup.6) after you downloader all files. Run the exe files... if it still asks you for a disk 2 then browse with that window to the entropia universe setup.2 file... till you're throu with all 6 files but should run automaticly if you download it into the same folder i guess...

And put the 3th download file in your EU map where you instaled it then instal the file then it works



Pff takes a long time this update :S

my graphics card is ok but i dont have enough memory...768mb ram is all i got im sure i had more though...

From the 10.0 FAQ:
Q: Will there be teaming in 10.0?
A: No. It will be reintroduced in VU 10.2.

Don't think we'll be able to go beaconning any time soon if we can't even team up =(
Will be a while till they implement mindforce, appartments, sweating, pets, fruitwalking and the like again too.
