1. Total Skill Target
We have no minimum total skill target for acceptance into The Gladiators.
2. Equipment
No special equipment required.
TG would like each member to have a Goldcard/Entropia Pocket Enhanced Account Security for their EU account. This is a requirement for membership as it protects not only your account and gear but also provides some protection for the whole society. There have been too many account hackings within EU where friends of the hacked avy lost many items due to a trust scam, we don't want that possibility within our society.
3. Activity
Please be active. If you don't like society hunts or chatting, then why are you here? We expect to see some interaction with other members, either in chat or team hunting. If you plan on being gone for an extended period of time, please make a post on this forum notifying us about it so you are not swept away while visiting Amsterdam or maybe Paris.
Your online activity level will be a major factor in determining if you are promoted or maintain rank and inactivity will get you removed from TG. We are looking for people with the goal of constant progression. We don’t have any requirements for skill gains on a monthly basis but we want to our ranks to be populated with people who continue to progress within this universe.
4. Trial Period
New members have a 1 month trial period to go through. In that time we expect to see the member online and interacting with others. This will aid in making a decision as to the person's continued membership in TG. No-shows will be kicked.
5. Decision Panel
Any member with the rank of Department Manager or above is advised to interact with new recruits during their trial period to help in deciding whether to keep the person within the society. The leader board wants your feedback concerning applicants to help us make our final decision for all new member’s long-term acceptance within TG.
6. Conduct
Members that are found to be offensive to others in the EU community or within the soc itself are subject to dismissal without warning. We expect our members being adults and will act accordingly.
7. Applications
At most times we operate on an invite only basis. There will be times that we have recruitment campaigns, which we will announce on EF. To be accepted, you must contact a member of the leader board and submit an official application either via PM on EF or by posting in the TG Forum. Feel free to contact any of the following leader board members: Carl Clash Carbone, Robert Rob Ethaniels, Kubroz the Wise Filosofer.
8. Self-sufficiency
You must be able to support yourself. Do not count on economical help from others to get by. Depositing is preferable, but if you have another way that works, that is fine too. Asking for handouts will earn you a high-speed trip out of this society.
9. Trial period rank limit
All new members in trial period will be limited to the rank of "Trainee" until they have graduated from this period. At the end of the 1 month mark we will make a decision to keep you and promote you from the Trainee rank or we will dismiss you.
10. Loaning Items
Although we all work very hard to maintain a member base compromised of honest and trustworthly people, please be cautious when loaning items to others. Don't feel obligated to loan someone something simply because they are your socmate. If you feel comfortable loaning another soc member an item then wonderful but don't put yourself in a situation that you are uncomfortable with. Always feel free to ask for collateral!
